As a Virginia wedding photographer, I’m used to blending into the background on a wedding day to capture memories as they occur. But for Gunnar and Paige’s Rose Hill Manor wedding, I couldn’t do that if I tried. Everyone was so warm and welcoming! I was sharing in laughter and happy tears right alongside this sweet couple and their loved ones.

A Picturesque Rose Hill Manor Wedding

The day started as ideal as it gets. Rose Hill Manor was a new wedding venue to me, and what a stunning one at that! It’s towering ivory pillars, charming wooden front door, and gorgeous ballroom made it a glorious location to host this couple’s best friends and family to celebrate their marriage.

Gunnar and Paige had so many emotional, sentimental moments too. One part of the day that stands out in my mind forever was their thoughtful gifts for one another. Paige surprised Gunnar with a brand new pair of Louis Vuitton shoes (yep, this groom got himself some red bottoms)! And Gunnar gifted Paige with a gorgeous pearl bracelet (I get giddy when I see that Tiffany blue bag).

Their ceremony may have also had me a little teary eyed. I see brides walking down the aisle half my weekends out of the year. But when Paige and her dad came out of the white doors in the manor, she just looked so angelic. I was as mesmerized as everyone else. And Gunnar had the biggest smile as she approached him.

Once they were pronounced husband and wife, the party was ON! Their bridal party brought all the energy, from to their wedding party portraits to the dance floor to their gorgeous sparkler exit. All-in-all, this wedding turned out to be one of the smoothest, easiest days to capture.
