Everything about Will and Madison’s wedding day was so incredibly charming. I arrived to their Air BnB, excited to second shoot another Willow Britt Studios wedding. I was paired with Kim from our WBS team to photograph the couple’s Virginia mansion wedding at the beautiful Whitehall Estate wedding venue in Bluemont, VA.

When I walked in, I met Will almost immediately. Dressed and a little nervous, Will was ready for the day. Then I snuck upstairs to meet Kim and the bride, Madison. She was glowing with the sweetest ear-to-ear grin. You could feel the energy between them even though they couldn’t see each other yet.

We headed to their catholic chapel ceremony at St. Bridget of Ireland Church. Their ceremony was so beautiful and meaningful. The guests were excited to watch them tie the knot.

After family formals, we took a few wedding photos at St. Bridget of Ireland Church. The church provided a gorgeous stone backdrop that complimented Madison’s pretty ivory bridal bouquet.

Once we made it to Whitehall Estate, we took bridal party portraits and covered their cocktail hour. The light at Whitehall Estate was stunning, even as clouds began rolling in. The sun peaked through the reception windows to cast an angelic spotlight on the couple during their first dance. But by sunset, the clouds created a stunning doppled overcast sky to grace their golden hour portraits.

I could go on and on about the details of how beautiful this wedding was, but photos really do speak for themselves. Madison & Will rode a Cloud 9 high all day, and it was absolutely contagious. Capturing these memories for them was a pure honor.
